*** Please be aware that the Hull Harbormaster has recently instituted a waiting list for moorings in Allerton harbor for boats with deep drafts. The Hull Yacht Club does not guarantee mooring space as part of it's membership process. Any and all requests for mooring space should be addressed to the Hull Harbormaster prior to applying for membership.

Frequently Asked Membership Questions

Which members of my family are covered by a "full" membership?

A full membership will include your spouse and children. Any other family members (ex. parents) would not be included in that membership but are welcome at the club as your guests any time, as long as they are accompanied by a member. If they would like to use the facilities on their own, then they would have to join as members.

Can I get a mooring for my boat?

There is currently no waiting list for a mooring in the harbor. As a club member you would have to purchase your own mooring, and can work with Andy Spinale from Aquamarine Services and the Hull Harbormaster for purchase, permits, and placement. Andy will know the specs for a boat of that size, and there may even be one out there that is for sale, which will save you money.

What is the difference between a social membership and a full membership?

A full membership entitles the member to use of all club facilities including those on the water (club launch service, docks, hoist, etc.). If you plan on keeping a boat at the club, you will need to join as a full (or junior) member. Full members also have voting privileges at any club membership meetings. Social membership allows access to club facilities on shore (i.e. clubhouse, bar, kitchen and porch) and any club social functions. This is also a good option for parents that want access to the junior sailing program for their children but are not keeping a boat at the club. Social members cannot vote at membership meetings.

Can I keep a dinghy at the club?

There are a couple of options for dinghys. There is a dinghy dock where you can tie up a dinghy if you want to leave it in the water. There is also dinghy rack space available for a yearly fee of $35.
