Maggie is a sophomore at the University of Rhode Island, where she is studying ocean engineering and a little biology, especially ecology. She is also a member of the sailing team, which she absolutely loves. Maggie is from West Newbury, MA but first learned to sail in N10s here in Hull before learning to race 420s and International 110s. For the last four summers she's been working at different clubs but is very excited to return to Hull YC and Mass Bay sailing. Maggie also enjoys skiing, slack lines, fencing and making cookie dough.

Pat is a senior at Cohasset High School, where he is president of the International and Film Analysis clubs, editor of the school paper and a member of the varsity lacrosse team. Pat also plays lacrosse year round with the Top Gun Fighting Clams. He has lived in Cohasset his whole life and learned to sail on Strait's Pond. From there Pat took lessons at the Cohasset Sailing Club where he was a member of the race team and an instructor for three years. This will be Pat's first summer not being involved with CSC and he is very excited to broaden his horizons and is looking forward to a great summer. Pat also enjoys skiing, surfing, traveling, and reading.

I am seventeen years old and completing my junior year at Hingham High School. I've been sailing for nine years at South Shore Yacht Club and Lincoln Maritime Center where I competed in local regattas. I am on the Hingham High School Sailing Team which is an A division team. I have raced N10s, Lasers, 420s, Mercurys, Knockaboats, and Rhodes 19s. I am first aid, CPR certified, and will be receiving my level one this spring.

Amanda Robinson / Instructor
Joanna Clark grew up sailing Opti's and 420's at Sandy Bay Yacht Club in Rockport, MA. She is currently a senior at the University of Wisconsin- Madison and will be graduating in May with degrees in History and Economics. She sailed for two years in college during which time she served as the team's practice captain, running college-level practices four times a week. Joanna coached Opti's at SBYC for four years and acted as Head Instructor for the last two. She is US Sailing Level 2 and First Aid/CPR certified. From April 2010 to August 2010, Joanna sailed on the sail training ship the Barque Picton Castle and sailed from Lunenburg, Nova Scotia to Anguilla, Bonaire, Panama City, Galapagos Islands, Pitcairn Island, Gambier Islands, and ended in the Cook Islands. Joanna loves cooking, bike rides, the beach, salty hair, and reggae music. She is excited to spend this summer directing the program at Hull Yacht Club!
